Walls Without the Damage
Adhesive hooks and strips have quietly become a renter’s best friend. Use them to hang framed prints, lightweight mirrors, and even small floating shelves — then remove them cleanly on moving day. For bigger impact, lean large art against the wall on top of a sideboard; galleries do it, and it looks completely intentional.
Paint-Free Colour
If your landlord won’t allow paint, get colour from textiles instead. A bold rug, curtain panels in a rich fabric, and a sage or terracotta throw can transform a plain white box. Peel-and-stick wallpaper on a single accent wall is another fully reversible option that photographs beautifully.
Furniture That Works Twice
Choose pieces that pull double duty: a storage ottoman as a coffee table, a leaning floor lamp that arcs over the sofa, and plants in statement pots to fill bare corners. When every item earns its place, even the strictest rental agreement can’t stop the room from feeling like yours.
